Advanced diagnostic options with PIET
XION’s Professional Image Enhancement Technology (PIET) extends the imaging system by adding three situational visualisation technologies. The modes PIET lumino, PIET chromo and PIET spectro are available in all resolutions (HD, 4K) as well as in 2D and 3D endoscopy.
Three Situational Modes
With PIETWithout PIETPIET lumino
Both bright and dark areas of the image are enhanced so they are equally well represented.
Clinical benefit
Better visualisation of detail in scenes with extreme lighting differences — fewer wash-outs and fewer dark, hidden regions.
With PIETWithout PIETPIET chromo
Details are highlighted and the colour contrast is intensified.
Clinical benefit
Improved ability to distinguish tissue types and identify subtle colour variations that may indicate pathology.
With PIETWithout PIETPIET spectro
By shifting the colour spectrum, tissue structures are displayed in a more differentiated manner.
