DiVAS 2.8

Overview

The modular DiVAS software is used to record, process and manage patient and examination data such as endoscopic image data and voice diagnostics examination data. DiVAS can thus be optimally used in common endoscopic disciplines and also offers a large number of specific ENT or phoniatrics modules as well as useful functionalities such as creating medical reports and examination protocols together with extensive export options. DiVAS is scalable from a single-user solution to a complex network solution that can be integrated into the hospital information system (HIS).

Modules

User Management

Patient data is protected by a simple user administration in which access rights are regulated by a combination of physician name and password. The optional DiVAS User Management module defines additional roles and rights for different user groups.

Picture / Video Documentation

The DiVAS Photo Documentation and Video Documentation modules capture photos and videos in 2D and 3D, automatically assigned to the selected patient. Material can be imported, cropped, contrast/brightness adjusted and playback speed changed. External signal sources such as operating-room microscopes, ultrasound or fluoroscopy can also be integrated.

Phoniatrics

Numerous phoniatrics-specific modules perform and document examinations such as singing-voice analysis, speaking-voice analysis, voice range profiling, voice strain tests, strobokymography, stroboscopy and the Voice Handicap Index (VHI) — all under one uniform user interface.

Dysphagia (FEED)

The dysphagia evaluation FEED module offers a form wizard that guides the examiner through documentation and integrates images from the examination video into reports. Based on international standards for time-saving evaluation of the endoscopic swallowing examination.

Network Solutions

The DiVAS Network Licence and DiVAS Net Server Software modules connect several workstations to a shared database. The DiVAS Viewer additionally lets external computers view and process examination results provided by XION examination systems and DiVAS.

HIS / Clinic Integration

DiVAS integrates easily into hospital information systems (HIS) using standard HL7 and DICOM interfaces.

Video Broadcasting & Conferencing (DiVAS Live)

The DiVAS Live module provides a platform for telemedicine and live transmissions in HD quality. The picture-in-picture function displays image data from different video sources simultaneously on one monitor — e.g. an endoscopic camera and a room camera.
